Interesting article; Efforts For Whites To Appear Colorblind May Backfire:
New research shows that whites often avoid using race to describe other people, particularly in interactions with blacks. However further research reveals that such efforts to appear colorblind and unprejudiced are associated with less-friendly nonverbal behaviors.
"Many whites seem to think that appearing colorblind - avoiding race during social interaction - is a good way to appear unbiased," said Samuel R. Sommers, Ph.D., assistant professor of psychology in the School of Arts and Sciences at Tufts University. "Despite that perception that colorblindness may make a positive impression on others, our data suggests that it often backfires."
You'll try to prove your not guilty of a crime you never committed by the omission of race in a conversation. You are screwed using it, or not.
Basically it means that white people should remain uncomfortable with themselves and maintain a high degree of self loathing. We can't call them black, use the "N" word, or even leave race out of the conversation. We're wrong. Black people can be wrong by referring to white people as "white." In turn, the white person can be uncomfortable with the black persons flagrant use of race of which you are trying to avoid.
Amazingly we have created a blissful world where everyone can be offended at anything. In this way we can be absolute idiots because nothing will ever be politically correct. We 'll recognize the rights of everyone, yet effectively have none as a larger group.
I propose we ban the "N" word and ANY word which implies any type of polarity. Left, not right, Up not down. Right would offend left handed people, Down offends optimists. Femininity is offended by masculinity. Why, because describing a red house implies blue is bad and blue would not get equal representation. Brilliant! We'll do this to preserve our collective freedoms which exist solely in our minds, not in reality. We'll all be the same regardless of our blatant differences, we'll simply legislate adjectives out of all languages!
In case you haven't heard, here is the plan.
The goal is to create a genderless society, indentured to debt, devoid of freedom, politically correct, physically beautiful and morally corrupt, heavily medicated consumers driven by radical religious idolatry perfecting more efficient ways to kill greater numbers of people while preserving real estate, keeping profits high and wages low, creating fictitious enemies to conquer in a black and white world while being overly entertained. We'll have no culture, no race, but everyone will be guilty of something. But we can look and feel great, being empty shells devoid of any semblance of humanity while we bury ourselves in post consumer waste. Bound to the mindless paradoxes created by a two-party system that's the same under the surface.
We'll simply define ourselves by the shit we own.

You'll can recognize me by my clothing, I wear Hilfiger, Bauer and Nautica. People call me Frank, which I answer to to make things easier. "Frank Jones" means the products I own that fulfill my life and can be interchangeably used with the products I mentioned. They make me who I am and unique in my mind, but a statistic to corporations who can further tailor my "lifestyle" to suit my income. I simply live to want and consume. I can easily track my location via my GPS system (Even though I don't travel much) and can be easily tracked by RFID tags, all my calls are monitored to fight the WOT. This is all for my freedom, which I readily give up to protect me from myself and any enemy, real or imagined.
In order for the system to work, individuality cannot survive or it'll destroy the group-think mentality and form an alternate reality and choice. We can't have that.
