There is a rash of speculation about 9/11 conspiracy theories floating around. It's either engineered by the US, or the US simply allowed it to happen.
Several journalists have pointed out that some people are simply wing-nuts who choose not to believe the truth. Others claim the tragedy is just too painful to accept. A few have suggested it's simply the absence of evidence or full disclosure by the government. Did you catch that last line?
On September 10, 2001 Donald Rumsfeld announces, "By some estimates we cannot track 2.3 trillion dollars in transactions." This is now a dead issue. I can understand losing change in a couch. How in the hell does a federal agency lose this much money? I suspect you'd have to REALLY TRY HARD to do it. This requires hundreds of people to screw up this bad. (Now one could assume this missing money could fund 9/11. So what's the government doing to find it?)
The videos of the Pentagon strike show nothing, yet there were cameras everywhere. Nobody has seen those tapes. (Yet you should simply accept it).
The administration initially rejected a commission to investigate 9/11. Bush and Cheney were questioned, but not under oath, nor recorded. (No record of testimony, it would only embolden the enemy).
The Air Traffic Controllers' 9/11 Tape Destroyed, Report Says, "Six air traffic controllers provided accounts of their communications with hijacked planes on Sept. 11, 2001, on a tape recording that was later destroyed by a Federal Aviation Administration manager, according to a government investigative report issued yesterday." (No need to worry, it was simply an accident).
19 people with Box cutters circumvent the CIA, FBI, DOD, FAA and NORAD. These agencies have remarkable budgets. They took over an hour just to respond.
There is more, much more in which I care not to delve in. But in the absence of EVIDENCE, what in the hell are people supposed to believe?
Consider this, the governments official story is just as circumstantial as the "Conspiracy Theorists" and less plausible. The government has withheld evidence. It's the absence of evidence that stirs speculation. In the absence of EVIDENCE what in the hell are people supposed to believe? (Yea, this occurs twice for reasons unknown to the author).
Is evidence based on faith? This is exactly what you are expected to accept, a story based on faith. Suspend logic, rationale and subsequent facts in order to accept the "theory" of 19 hijackers, when other evidence contradicts the story. This story, called the "Official Version" is as poorly scripted as a B Hollywood movie. When James Bond fights a "Supervillain" you as a member of the audience, are required to suspend normal cognitive abilities in order to accept the story and fulfill the plot. James Bond breaks the known laws of physics. You HAVE to accept this in order for the movie to work. You willfully do so. Are you also willfully accepting this story because it defies your conventions? It's much easier to accept, because like the movie, the "information" is handed to you. Wow, the theatre goers pay a few quid to be entertained.
It's a secret, to tell you would compromise national security.
Is often the type of excuse peddled to the public? Horseshit! If this is the case, then...
ROYAL EDICT
Her Royal Majesty, the Queen of England, has recently appointed me to reign in her steed, all commonwealth nations. The conversation was private. The House of Windsor abdicates its territory and crown to me. You simply should accept this as fact. Questioning me, or my state of mind is ridiculous. You should accept it, without question. I have evidence of this, but I cannot and will not divulge it. If you challenge this you are insane.
Some people are in an uproar over 911 Scholars for Truth. THEY'RE WINGNUTS! Rather than criticize the scholars, read their material first, then form your own judgment. How can anyone seek education, pay for it and then use it for their careers and say, "Educators live in their own world." Yes, akin to the world in which you also live in. Don't seek education if they are full of crap. Conspiracy is simply two or more people conspiring to perform an act. Kind of like your parents knocking boots to have you. Using the logic of some people, since I did not see it, it did not occur. I am merely circumstantial evidence of a liaison between two people.
It would really be bad up if all the conspiracy theories you ever heard were in fact truth. Some people, faced with incontrovertible truth, can still deny it. Oh Cassandra!
If the "Official Story" is 100% correct, then divulge ALL the evidence. Photos, Black Boxes, ATC recording, video surveillance, and testimony. It should be public. It's not. This would effectively paralyze the entire "Evildoer Network" and end "outrageous conspiracy theories" Knowledge is what makes people safe, or so I thought. Looks like the government is fueling the fire by not coming clean with the information they have. Doesn’t laying the facts on the table for all to see make the strongest case?

I think we should take his advice. It works both ways. Compare each and reach a conclusion.
That's what would change my erroneous perceptions, facts.
I suspect the majority of good people in our federal agencies know what the truth is and really want it to be told. If I ever had faith, it would be in this. The nameless, faceless people will be the unrecognized heroes of our future.
Popular Mechanics, having failed to quash earlier "9/11 conspiracy theorists" has wrote another piece, a book which basically says (I boldly paraphrase in a drunken stupor):
Yes, the government is inept and failed on every level. It's unfortunate, but it's true. They are capable now but you should still be scared out of your mind. Everything is merely coincidental. Mistakes were made."
The is basically what the 9/11 Commission said. In short the Federal agencies are supremely inept and competent and the same time. Borrowing from Wayne, "Ex-squeeze me." (References to popular culture movies provided by SocialOracle, Inc. as a public service).
All the while the research editor, Benjamin Chertoff of "911:Debunking The Myths" fame coincidentally happens the cousin of Michael Chertoff, DHS. Now there is a "Suspension of Disbelief" required to watch "Fight Club."
I guess we should ask John O'Neil why his investigations into known terrorists were dropped, but he's dead. (Unfortunate coincidence).
Robin Cook a British MP said Al Qaeda was simply a "database of names" of "assets" supporting the expulsion of the Soviet Union from Afghanistan, not a terrorist organization. He's also dead. (Another unfortunate coincidence). This means the "Evil Doers" network, as an organization is a myth. He says:
Bin Laden was, though, a product of a monumental miscalculation by western security agencies. Throughout the 80s he was armed by the CIA and funded by the Saudis to wage jihad against the Russian occupation of Afghanistan. Yet another unfortunate coincidence is that the truth may never be known. Added to the pile of unfortunate coincidence is most people simply don't give a damn regardless. There seems to be so many "coincidences" you keep tripping over them.
So, how do they get started? The absence of facts, the preponderance of coincidence and the obfuscation of truth.
In conclusion, whether you believe the Official Story or the Loose Change version (and others like it) they are both rather disturbing. Whichever version you believe means something is wrong in the Matrix. You are living in a black and white world, in living color.
